Dear All, I have an issue which is annoying a lot, OAB is not updating GAL on Outlook 2007 in Cache Mode. Exchange 2010 Outlook 2007 - Cache Mode OAB is distributed via Web based and Public folders.I disable cache mode and it works fine but I don't want to keep it disabled, I also tried by delete the OAB file in C:\Users\username\App Data\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Offline Address Books and download OAB manually rather then waiting for 24 hours, it's still same. I also waited for 24 hours to download automatically but no difference. I also tried other different options such as, recreating new GAL, reboot server, restart Exchange File Distribution service, checked IIS that OAB is available there, but nothing worked. Microsoft is conducting an online survey to understand your opinion of the Technet Web site.If you choose to participate, the online survey will be presented to you when you leave the Technet Web site. In general, Outlook will automatically update the Offline Address Book (OAB) for Exchange accounts once every 24 hours. When it didn’t or when you want to make sure you do have the latest OAB available, you could manually trigger an update from within Outlook as well.
This is called the Offline Address Book and is being generated on the Exchange server.
If the update mechanism appears to be broken for you, it could be because of a corruption in your OAB or in your mail profile.
In that case, you can completely reset it by deleting the files making up the OAB or by recreating your mail profile.

An offline address book (OAB) is a copy of an address book that's been downloaded so that an Outlook user can access the information it contains while disconnected from the server.
